Houses, Or Works Of Art?

Traditional African houses are a work of art, all thanks to the ladies. The ladies decorate the houses after the men finish building them. The decorations range from simple patterns and nature symbols, to intricate geometric patterns. Bright colours are also a great addition. The most popular decorated houses come from the Ndebele and Sotho people of South Africa, the Hausa people of Nigeria, the Gurunsi people of Burkina Faso and the Sirigu village in Ghana.
