Rhythms of BaTswana

I love Tswana Traditional Dance. BaTswana men and women, clapping, singing and dancing to the rhythmic sounds of the shells around their ankles. Beautiful to watch.

Tswana dancing originates from the Tswana and the Barsawa (San) people of Botswana and South Africa. There are different types of Tswana dancing, including Borankana, Phathisi, Setapa, Tsutsube, Ndazola, Kalanga, Hosana, Chesa, Huru, Mokomoto, Selete and the Basarwa (San) dance.
