Kente Style

The beautiful Kente fabric from Ghana is the Icon of African Heritage. This bold and colourful fabric dates back to 3000 B.C. where it was used to make the garments of Ashanti royals. The colours and the patterns on the fabric, convey certain meanings, that relate to the culture and heritage of the Ashanti people, as explained here. Today, everybody gets a chance to wear garments made from the Kente fabric, and feel like royalty.
